Groundwork is intended exclusively for adults aged 18 and older. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please discontinue using the platform.
Groundwork provides 20 interactive decision utilities (e.g. mortgage refinance, solar PV payback, escrow shortage, debt avalanche, and metabolic baselines). By using these calculators, you acknowledge and agree that:
Groundwork operates under the United States Supreme Court Publisher's Exclusion (Lowe v. SEC, 472 U.S. 181 (1985)), the UK Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) Perimeter Guidance (PERG), and the Australian ASIC Regulatory Guide 244 (RG 244).
All publications, articles, macroeconomic commentary, and tools are impersonal, bona fide research delivered to the general public. No fiduciary, advisory, doctor-patient, or attorney-client relationship is formed between you and Groundwork or its contributors.
We provide structured machine discovery endpoints (/.well-known/mcp/server-card.json, /tools/llms.txt) to enable responsible AI agents and research tools to query our evidence base.
Automated agents must respect rate limits (enforced via Upstash Redis edge gateways), must preserve canonical citation attribution, and must not engage in denial-of-service (DoS) attacks or unauthorized data harvesting.
All original Groundwork articles, graphics, and calculator code are protected by copyright. You are encouraged to cite and reference our research using our persistent Zenodo DOIs or our 8-format citation tool (/citations) provided proper attribution and a link to the original article are maintained.
